For a while SingStar was all the rage in Iceland, and I used to kick ass at Avril Lavigne’s Sk8r Boy and Ashlee Simpson’s timeless classic, Pieces Of Me. GOOD JOB, 2005 ME!

003: who is the most famous person you’ve ever met?

Well, as some of you may have guessed, real actual FAMOUS people are not a very common animal here in Iceland, ESPECIALLY not in my home town. Um. When Paul Dano was here filming The Good Heart I saw him outside of a book store? Idk if that counts as meeting him? But, I mean, Jónsi from Sigur Rós comes to the coffee shop where I work all the time. But that’s nothing special, I guess. Oh, I met our President the other day! Woo!

004: what is your biggest tumblr pet peeve? 

When people don’t erase other people’s tags before reblogging. DON’T DO THAT, MAN. That ain’t cool. You can’t just keep other people’s thoughts and pass them off as your own! Also: autoplay when you don’t have endless scrolling enabled, autoplay AT ALL tbh, themes that don’t show tags…um…that’s pretty much it, I think.

005: what was your all time best halloween costume?

First of all, in Iceland we don’t have Halloween, we have a thing called Öskudagur. On Öskudagur kids dress up in costumes, go to local businesses and sing songs to get candy! (all kinds of songs, really, but thereare also special songs just for singing on Öskudagur) In my home town kids get the day off school and start singing reeeeaaally early in the morning, so everything’s pretty much done around noon, 1 or 2 at the latest.

I had a lot of awesome costumes as a kid because my dad used to sow/make everything himself, and he’d put a LOT of effort into it. Once I was a parrot, and dad made me a multicolored dress with wings on it, and a big beak made out of papier-mâche! Another time I was a princess and he made me a crown, a shirt, a jacket, a skirt and a little apron. I remember that the jacket and the skirt were made out of really nice gold fabric. Sigh, my dad’s awesome.

006: who was your first real/fictional crush?

I think it was this dude from Casper. ~*~SO DREAMY~*~

007: if you could be fluent in any language which would you pick?

First pick would be French and second Korean, I think. They are both so beautiful.

008: can you play any instruments?

Nope! I wish I did, though!

009: jr high debate question: replay is the greatest song ever. yay or nay?

010: what are your feelings about michael bolton? 

All the eagles, firelight, long flowing hair and blue jeans one could ever need, tbh.
